Connect
Event Branding & Experience Design
Connect is a semester-long, collaborative branding project for a senior student, faculty, and alumni mixer at Tyler School of Art and Architecture. The event celebrated graduating students, fostered connection, and culminated in an awards presentation. The project encompassed a full visual identity, physical and digital touchpoints, and event logistics. My role focused on digital experience design, including RSVP email design, form-building and data collection systems, and the design of the diplomas presented to graduating students, while also contributing to the broader brand system and event materials.
Design Approach + My Role
Connect required a flexible identity system capable of scaling across digital, print, and environmental applications. The visual language centers on modular forms, bold color contrasts, and an adaptable typographic system that reflects the event’s theme of connection and continuity.
Serving as the team’s Event Planner, I led the design and implementation of the event’s digital registration system, building the RSVP forms and managing the data collection process used to organize attendance and award submissions. I also designed the RSVP email communications within the established visual language, created the honorary diplomas presented to graduating seniors, and contributed to the broader identity system by helping develop a repeatable pattern derived from the typography of the event’s logo.
Outcome
Connect demonstrates an approach to event branding that balances identity, experience, and logistics. The project highlights collaboration across disciplines while showcasing how thoughtful digital systems and physical artifacts can work together to create a cohesive, memorable event.
