Freelance and In-House Brand Work

My work with Hi-Lo Taco Co., Rio Tequila Cantina, River House, and Fresh House grew out of real relationships with each team. The access I had is what makes the photography feels natural and persuasive. It’s because I know the food and the people behind it. The social content, reels, and email campaigns for Hi-Lo Taco Co. were built with an understanding of the brand's voice from the inside. The menus, advertisements, and merchandise for Fresh House and Rio Tequila Cantina were designed with a working knowledge of how guests actually move through a space.

Hospitality is what led me to graphic design, not the other way around. Working in restaurants, helping build a happy hour menu or shoot an Instagram reel, made me realize I wanted to do this seriously. That's what pushed me to pursue my BFA. The industry I grew up working in is the one I now get to design for.

Hi-Lo Taco Co.

At Hi-Lo Taco Co., I have handled creative marketing from food photography for online ordering and social content to reels, email, and traditional marketing campaigns. Working in a small team, I manage a marketing calendar and collaboratively execute promotions and specials like the Weekly Taco Feature, Good Queso donation campaigns and general holiday special events.

Rio Tequila Cantina

Working with Rio Tequila Cantina, a concept by Labrie Family Restaurants, I handled print and social media design across the full operation including menus, monthly calendars, weekly event flyers, posters, uniforms and specialty menus for rotating comedy and live music nights. I also developed the branding and logo for the Jalisco Tequila Club, Rio's loyalty program.

Fresh House

Fresh House called for a clean, appetite-forward approach. I developed food photography alongside menu design that reinforced the brand's fresh, health-conscious identity. I worked closely with the General Manager on food and beverage concepts and development, designed print material and social media promotions and content. My role also included developing in-store wayfinding and signage as well as an employee uniform.
