Gusteau’s

Gusteau’s French Brasserie is a hospitality brand concept inspired by the traditions of Parisian dining. The project explores how historical brasserie aesthetics like ornamented typography, framed compositions, and refined color palettes, can be translated into a cohesive, modern brand system. Spanning logo design, menus, packaging, and tableware applications, the identity balances warmth and sophistication while maintaining a timeless, established presence.

Hospitality Concept and Brand Identity Design

Design Approach

Gusteau’s is rooted in the visual traditions of classic French brasseries, like their ornamented borders, elegant typography, and framed compositions, reinterpreted through a modern lens. The identity balances warmth and structure, using repetition and subtle decorative elements to evoke intimacy. A monogram logo anchors the brand across menus, packaging, and environmental applications, ensuring the space feels considered and enduring.

Menus, Packaging & Touchpoints

The brand extends across a full suite of physical touchpoints, including menus, matchbooks, packaging, tableware, and printed ephemera. Each piece is designed to reinforce the atmosphere of the space, emphasizing tactility, repetition, and consistency. Together, these elements create a cohesive dining experience that feels intentional and immersive.
